The Architecture Department of Bishop Jerome Institute successfully conducted the *Student Placement Meet I–2026*.

Dr. Anil A. R., Principal, inaugurated the session and spoke about the importance of placement meets in guiding students towards meaningful career paths. Prof. Athul V. S.  presented the department  portfolio and highlighted the  USP (Unique Selling Points) of the Architecture Department emphasizing its academic strength, practical exposure, industry engagement, and Research activities.


Mr. Raghavan K., Deputy Director, IIIC, addressed the gathering on the importance of being skilled and adaptable when joining a new organisation, and also presented details of job opportunities offered by the company. Prof. George Constantine (Head-Placement IIC)  spoke on the significance of effective communication skills while attending an interview.

Dr. Jalaja Madan Mohan, Head of the Technical Coordination and Public Awareness Section (TCPAS), Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam, shared insights on career opportunities in premier institutions and emphasized the importance of skill development to secure positions in such organisations, along with presenting relevant job prospects.

Prof. Bhavana Joy moderated the session, and Prof. Jelitta delivered the vote of thanks.

Students and parents of the Architecture Department actively participated in the programme and clarified their queries related to placements.
