“EXERGY”, The Association of Mechanical Engineering Students, is a pivotal initiative dedicated to familiarizing emerging engineers with practical applications. Our primary objective is to cultivate lateral thinking, promote innovative research, and facilitate technical guidance from esteemed figures within the Mechanical Engineering sphere. Our activities encompass a diverse range, including field visits, team-building exercises, collaborative projects, debates, seminars, and more. Moreover, we are committed to establishing an award recognizing outstanding innovations to stimulate further advancements in the Mechanical sector.
Established on January 11, 2012, EXERGY was inaugurated by Dr. K Gopakumar, Associate Professor at TKM College of Engineering. Highlights of our recent endeavors include a presentation titled "Role of Technical Bodies in Engineering" delivered by Prof. Francis Augustine Joseph, a distinguished member of the SAEISS Management, during the Association Day on May 13, 2022.
Additionally, for the academic year 2023-24, our Association Day, held on February 15, 2024, featured a technical session led by Associate Prof. Bejoy S., focusing on "Artificial Intelligence – A Big Picture," with insights shared by Prof. Sumod Sundar, an expert from the AI centre at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam.
